Where the boat landed

Where the boat landed: Many people are ill informed or confused about race. not only are they ill informed but, if this particular person has a vendetta or a bias against another race, I won’t name call, your ignorance may just be 10 fold because people are one and i’m not just saying that. People are one. This is why when it comes to race in a job application it does not say many races it all depends on where the boat landed.

Over a surgical procedure one day a doctor whom I admire started to speak to me about race very passionately. He a man from an island Trinidad. He grouped himself with Africans. So I asked him “but, doctor aren’t you from the islands?” he said “yes” then he asked “where do you think the backs came from on that island?” I assumed they were there. Then he explained to me. Trinidad, Jamaica, Cuba, PR, America, Dominican republic, Most of those places were colonized. No matter the language Dark skin with visuals from the African is from Africa. The only separated by language “it’s a matter of where the boat landed” is what this doctor said. So then it struck me whole-heartedly. most “races” don’t really exist. where is only black, white, and Asian. Then a mixture of many of those. You can argue for natives but either way we are one. its a matter of what elevation to the water, and how close to the equator did the “race” live is to how his/her ancestry evolved. We are all one. and it is all a matter of…
